Button Your Bouquet

17 Dec

If you are looking for an alternative to the usual wedding bouquet and want something completely different, this is for you.

We have just discovered DC Bouquets which is run by the very talented, Debbie Carlisle, who’s gorgeous boutique makes fantastic pieces with buttons, including wedding accessories, bouquets and buttonholes.

The one-off designs use a variety of vintage and vintage-style jewellery and buttons mixed with crystal, glass and pearl beads.

The buttonholes are brilliant as extra special gifts for those in your wedding party and the headwear is fabulous for bridesmaids, as some can be worn in a variety of ways.

Best of all after everyone has admired them on your wedding day, you will be left with a beautiful reminder that you can keep forever and show-off time and time again. J’Adore!

Black & White Wedding Bouquets

31 Oct

This year we went off to the Portrait Gallery to see the movie stars exhibition which gave us so much inspiration for glamorous black and white themed weddings.

A mono theme is a good low-budget way to add great effect to your day as it’s not hard to source black and white products (colour matching can be very difficult and end up costing you a fortune).

Flowers can be difficult to get right though but these great bouquets from Marta Stewart show you how it can be done.
